Eralock Rules

Goal: Complete 100% clear of Azeroth: expansion by expansion, zone by zone. 4 rules that shape the challenge.

1
Expansion Lock
I run WoW chronologically, one expansion at a time. Only the current expansion is enabled in ATT — I work through its zones in list order until each shows 100% (quests, achievements, items, professions, reputation). Inside an expansion I move freely so breadcrumb quests and unlock chains don't break. The next expansion is enabled in ATT only once the previous one is fully closed.

Level is locked per expansion (~5 levels above the zone) — open-world mobs are weaker, but dungeons and raids stay a real challenge.
Expansion Lock
Classic / TBC / WotLK 35
Cataclysm / Mists of Pandaria 40
Warlords of Draenor 45
Legion 50
Battle for Azeroth 55
Shadowlands 65
Dragonflight 75
The War Within / Midnight Max

What doesn't block zone transition
Some content can't be closed «in one pass» — it doesn't block moving on to the next zone, but I'm obligated to come back and finish it:
  • Reputation — when it grinds through daily quests.
  • Mega-Rare mobs — rares with a 12–24h respawn.
  • Dailies — until the related content is closed.
I can move forward in the list, but I must regularly come back until the previous zone shows true 100%.
3
Self-sufficiency
Everything earned by this character. No Heirlooms, no gold or item transfers from a main or alts. I can equip only what I've looted or crafted within the current expansion.
4
Auction House & exceptions
The Auction House is almost entirely off-limits. Only three exceptions, always for this character's own gold:
  • Vendor items that bots buy out faster than I can reach them.
  • Legacy items (removed from the game) — for the ATT collection only, can't be used.
  • Profession-leveling reagents — but only from the current expansion I'm running. Materials from later expansions are off-limits.
